Prologis Sweden owns and manages logistics properties in Sweden with the ambition to be a safe, long-term partner that maximises customer value. The list of their customers includes Volvo Cars, DHL, Lindex, Sportamore and H&M-owned Sellpy. Prologis Sweden also makes investments to minimise its environmental impact by, among other things, integrating basic principles around sustainability in order to secure responsible investments and commercial decisions.
“We look forward to taking another step forward in our sustainability strategy with Mestro’s energy monitoring services. We always strive to optimise our sustainability efforts at all stages, and therefore it is important for us to be able to monitor and compare the energy use of our properties. The monitoring will also facilitate our reporting to our parent company,” says Gunnar Gillholm, Vice President, Country Manager Nordics, at Prologis Sweden.
Mestro is an SaaS company that develops and sells a cloud-based system that automatically collects, analyses and visualises customers’ energy data in real time. Through Mestro’s software platform, companies and organisations can save energy and reduce their costs and their carbon footprint from the first year of implementation. The company offers its energy monitoring products to a number of different industries and already has a number of customers in logistics properties. Now the company is looking forward to welcoming another client in the same segment.
“The fact that Prologis Sweden, as part of an international group, is looking to us is very exciting. More and more companies see the importance of complying with current and future regulations in both the Swedish and international markets. We now look forward to welcoming and managing the trust that Prologis Sweden has placed in us. Because this journey has only just begun!”, says Gustav Stenbeck, CEO of Mestro.
The agreement refers to a total contract value during the first year that amounts to approximately 270 KSEK, of which approximately 230 KSEK refers to annual recurring subscription revenues. Both parties have now signed the agreement and the implementation process starts immediately.
